Through Roborace, Lucas explored the relationship between human skill and autonomous systems. The race circuit became a place to ask how machines perceive their surroundings, make decisions and respond at speed.
That experience connects his racing career with a wider interest in artificial intelligence, mobility and the choices that shape new technology.
